This is one of useful Bible study apps which provides short
and sweet access to context, commentary and summary. It is under construction
and therefore we may not find the study tools for every books of the Bible.
However, I have been using it for years and I find it pretty useful.
Features:
- Since, its parental site is gotquestions, perhaps this app and its site must have same level of usefulness.
- The Home section has easy access to books of the Bible, the Gospel section and new updates on its contents.
- Includes section of Statement of Faith which is as same as its parental site. It has brief overview on the Bible, God, Jesus Christ, The Holy Spirit, Angels and Demons, Humanity, Salvation, Church, and Things to Come.
- Includes section of Gospel
- Enables users to sort the books of the Bible both traditionally and alphabetically.
- In every book, there are chapters, survey and summary sections.
- The survey includes basic information about the book. The name is enough to understand the use of section.
- The summary section helps user to grasp entire summary of the books
- In each chapter, there are commentary, summary and context sections
- Commentary gives insight on the particular chapter dealing with its internal contents, Summary gives overall message of the chapter and Context sets out the approach of how the chapter has to be understood.
- In each verse, there are comparative display of various versions of the Bible such as NIV, ESV, KJV, NASB, NLT and CSB, context and commentary. The context and commentary both functions for the verse in the same way as they function for the chapters.
- The contents also include unbiased doorway to various interpretations if they exist and provides a bottom line to withdraw from particular verse, chapter or book.
