Answering some criticism raised to Street preachers

1^st meme: No Christians preach the Age of the Earth. That’s not even the concern of the Bible and requirement of salvation. The Bibles doesn’t give the date of creation and various interpretations of Genesis creation account has been accepted throughout the church history without compromising Biblical authority.

2^nd meme: Evangelize at the church? Then come to the church or let the street preachers proclaim the message of the Bible. First, keep emotional play aside and think critically!

3^rd meme: Just a random Big Bang cannot lead to a fine tuned universe unless guided by intelligent cosmic mind. The Big Bang still leaves question of the beginner.

4^th meme: Nobody preaches? What about Yoga course taught at school and colleges? What about distribution of the Gita by Hare Krishnas? What about Indian superhero Shaktimaan series? These all are preaching the essential of Hinduism and roadway to liberation!

5^th meme: “And I declare that he who studies this sacred conversation of ours worships Me by his intelligence.” (Lord Krishna, Bhagavad-Gita 18.70)

6^th meme: You don’t listen to what is being preached and yet complain with fear of religious conversion? We strictly preach what Jesus said: I am the Way, the Truth and the Life (John 14:6). And he didn’t say that to Christians but proclaimed his identity. He is the embodiment of the WAY, the TRUTH and the LIFE!

7^th meme: Yes, there are many deities, gurus and gods. All of them offered ways to attain the moksha or liberation. Jesus offered himself, whose mission suggests ‘God with us’, whose name suggests God redeems and whose title suggests the chosen one.

8^th meme: Science hasn’t refuted the Bible. The Bible has been rather misunderstood. Check out my playlist on related topic for this.

9^th meme: Not just religion, your whole life is based on faith. What’s guarantee that you shall be alive next day morning and yet you keep alarm? What’s obvious that you will safely travel and yet you use transportation? What’s so sure that scientists would be safe while carrying out projects and experiments, yet they perform them. Revise, rethink and reconsider your understanding of faith!
