Resources Dose: Theological Bible Dictionary

This app seems great. It has Bible and Theological dictionary. The app presents itself more as serving a theological dictionary than the Bible. In present context, its not enough just to have the Bible but also adequate theological digest to help us explore the Word of God.

As a Bible, it provides Reading Plans, Daily verses and Personal Notes. However, it doesn’t seem to feature any Bible versions for effective Bible reading.

As a Theological dictionary, it serves better. It doesn’t include every theological term but at least it gives high featured contents on the terms it features. It gives adequate and interesting content on the word we dive in. It systematically breaks down the explanation of the word through associated theological topics. It provides etymology of the word, Biblical references, comparisons, associates, Hebrew and Greek words, and cross-references. This is akin to the function of an encyclopedia. Again, to remind, it doesn’t have every theological topic we try to quest.

Theological dictionary is pretty helpful in deep exploration of the Bible. It equips us in word study, background study, usage outline, probable meaning in controversial areas, and Biblical references allocation. This app can be a helpful tool for enthusiastic learners.

Finally, user can explore themselves how far this app can quench their thirst of gaining knowledge of the Bible. To remind again, it is more a theological dictionary than a Bible.
