Video: Here!
Case closed? Are you so obvious about that??
Let's break down your opinions.
Lily: "did you know that Jesus wasn't a Christian or a Jew he was a Muslim"
Did you say Jesus wasn't a Christian, he wasn't a Jew?
Do you even know what the word Christian means? It literally means "Follower of Christ". So, why would Jesus be a Christian? It was a general label that was given to his followers because of their lifestyle. Jesus was a Jew! Jesus was a Jew by descent, and He lived a Jewish life in the first century.
According to the way you are arguing, we can also say that Muhammad was also Christian because in the Quran he talks about Jesus' virgin birth and miracles! That's a vague association or technically equivocation error of giving reasons!
Lily: "firstly what does the word Muslim actually mean muslim is an Arabic word and it directly translates to one that submits to God"
You began with meaning of Islam as "Submission to God" and yes that's what Islam literally has to mean but a further little bit, it is precisely, "The Peace that we receive under submission to the God". That's what Islam actually mean. And by your logic, yes Jesus had to be a Muslim by that definition.
But hang on...
Lily: "every single prophet in the whole Bible submits to God look at Noah noah submitted to God's commandments by building the ark even though no one believed him that the floods were coming abraham he was willing to sacrifice his beloved son because God told him to he submitted to God's commands moses he went against the strongest Pharaoh to ever live because God told him to moses submitted to God now Jesus the whole New Testament is proclaiming Jesus submitted to God's will he prayed to God he said he can do nothing on his own he can only do the will of the one who sent him he also says that all the miracles are done through him from God"
You correctly pointed out many examples from the Bible. But that only proves "Submission to God" and not "Islam" as a religion! The official Islam as a religion begins after rise of Muhammad! And with such a vague association as you are doing, even a Hindu can say Jesus was a Hindu and a Buddhist can say Jesus was a Buddhist. Islam gets its definition not just by its root word meaning but by its doctrines and practices which are straightforward contrary to the Bible! Your Allah isn't even same as God Yahweh! The God of Bible is Yahweh not Allah!
Lily: "not once is the word Jew ever mentioned in the Old Testament and not once is Christian ever mentioned in the whole Bible"
You said Christian word isn't mentioned in the Bible? How could you then claim you have read the Bible? The very word was used three times in the New Testament in Acts 11:26, 26:28 and 1 Peter 4:16!
Lily: "on his last and final sermon before facing death he prayed to God saying "Take my sacrifice not as I will but as you will.""
And what you said more? Jesus prayed to God saying to take his sacrifice? What that literally means to you? Are you trying to say Jesus is the sacrifice? Do you know what that means literally gives a strong opposition to your Quran that attempts to deny his crucifixion?
Finally, you did a great task of mixing two different theologies and producing a tactical output you are putting yourself into a trap and at same time confusing your audience too!
Well tried Lily Jay!!!
