Have you ever encounter some groups who usually ask these kinds of question? If yes, then you should better guard yourself, they are widely spreading False Christian groups called Mother Jerusalem or World Mission Society Church of God!
The Mother Jerusalem!
Origin: Ahn Sahng-hong aka “our heavenly Father Christ Ahnsahnghong” (1918 -1985) as founder. Established in 1964, Korea.

Their beliefs:
a) Their Trinity is: God plays three different roles with three different names. Technically it is called Modalism.
b) More than one God was involved in the creation since God used a plural pronoun during creation. Hence, a Mother God also exist who is believed to be the “Heavenly Jerusalem” and the “Bride of Christ. They use Gal. 4:26! They teach God the Mother is the core of our faith and the figure that guides us. . . . God the Mother stands by and prays for us whenever we face hardships.
c) They believe that Jesus’ second coming is actually an incarnation of the Holy Spirit and not a return of the Son. This coming was fulfilled in their church’s founder, Ahnsahnghong. They teach that we are to pray, preach in his name and use the name Ahnsahnhong as the personal name of God.
d) They teach that the Passover feast is to be celebrated annually on the date prescribed in the Law of Moses. The Passover is considered to be the central point of all revelation. It is the source of forgiveness, the means of acquiring eternal life, and the avenue to blessings and protection from God. It is the only means by which we can reach heaven. The Passover literally is the gospel. Any message about Christ that does not include the requirement of the Passover is not the gospel.
e) The WMSCOG teaches that God saves us through baptism. Baptism should be conducted the very moment that one accepts the WMSCOG gospel because to delay Baptism is to delay salvation itself. For baptism to be valid and effective for one’s salvation, it must be done in the names of Jehovah (the Father), Jesus (the Son), and Ahnsahnghong (the Holy Spirit).
f) The WMSCOG teaches that our body is not our true nature. It is merely the present dwelling place of our true self, which is our soul. They also teach that our souls pre-existed this earthly life and are originally from heaven. Bodily life on earth is a form of exile or punishment for sins we already committed in heaven before our birth.
What the Bible actually says?
a) The Biblical Trinity: Not just three different roles, but three different persons co-existing as One God!
b) There is no room for any second God as Mentioned in Deut. 6:4, Isa. 45:5, 44:24, 45:12. The plural terms has been understood referring to either a heavenly Divine council (God and host of heaven) or Trinity. Regarding Mother God from Gal. 4:26, the context actually is -
In Galatians 4, Paul uses an allegory (verse 22) comparing two Old Testament characters Hagar and Sarah. Those who seek to be righteous by the law are called children of the slave woman (Hagar in 4:24-26), and those who seek to be righteous by faith are children of the free woman (4:22 and 30) or children of promise (Sarah in 4:28).
Second, the “mother” (Greek μήτηρ meter) reference in Galatians 4:26 corresponds to the heavenly city of Jerusalem which represents Sarah who is the free woman mentioned in verse 22. It simply refers to those who are justified by faith. They are, figuratively speaking, children of the free woman Sarah (verse 31).
Third, Paul knew Greek term for God 'theos' which he uses several times in Galatians and other letters. Had he wanted to teach the notion of God the Mother, he could have easily used theos here and combined it with meter in order to teach God the Mother. However, he did not.
The Bible does not teach the existence of a “heavenly mother.” God is consistently referred to as our Father. Revelation 21:2 describes the New Jerusalem as a beautifully adorned bride. But verses 9–10 show that the “wife of the Lamb” and the “New Jerusalem” are synonymous terms. Without doubt, the New Jerusalem is a city, not a person. Hence, the city is the church, the redeemed of the Lord living in God’s heavenly city. Consequently, the Lamb’s “wife,” then, is figurative, not literal.
c) There is nothing in the Bible about Holy Spirit incarnating. Rather, he dwells in every individual who receives Christ in their life. John 14:17; Romans 8:9; 1 Corinthians 3:16; Acts 2:38
d) It is Jesus who is the central point of all revelation. He is the source of eternal life and forgiveness. He is the fulfilment of the Passover. It is only through Jesus we can access heaven. John 1:18; John 14:6; John 3:16; 1 John 1:9; 1 Corinthians 5:7; Hebrews 1:1-2
e) Baptism is merely an outward sign of our inward faith, a public declaration that we died with Christ and raised with him again thereafter committing to follow him and live with him. Delaying baptism has nothing to do with our salvation but it is our obedience to Christ's commandment and our public declaration that we now belong to him. It is done in Triune God's name as Jesus commanded. Matthew 28:19; Romans 6:3-4; 1 Peter 3:21; Acts 8:36-38; Ephesians 2:8-9
f) It is clearly mention in Genesis 1-3 that God created us with body. Even in our New Earth, we would have body. Also, we never existed unless God created us. Our bodily life is not a punishment rather a preparation that we must do for our future glorious life. Genesis 1:26-27; Genesis 2:7; 1 Corinthians 15:42-44; Revelation 21:1-4; Psalm 139:13-14
Impact: Ahn Sahng-Hong was a false prophet. He predicted Christ would return in 1967, then changed the date to 1988. The WMSCOG believed the world would end in 1967, then 1988, and then at the end of 2012. This dangerous cult is getting hype in Nepal with their workmen possible to meet on road unexpectedly. Many Christians have tried debating with them. Be sure to study the Bible and consult with your pastor, elders or teachers whenever you face these groups.
