Answers to some children's questions part 7 || Sunday classes children's ministry || 2025 || A wrong way of reaching Hindu neighborhoods

1) I found one small tract named "Balidaan" that includes certain shlokas from Hindu scripture regarding the need of sacrifices and concludes Jesus is the ultimate sacrifice for our sins using certain shlokas from the Vedas. Is this tract useful for sharing the Gospel? Does Hindu religion talk about Jesus?

You have brought an amazing and often confused question! Yes, the tract provides several glances from the Hindu texts and breaks down them to conclude Jesus is the Savior. So, as you asked whether Hindu religion also mention Jesus or not, the answer depends upon the critical examination of the shlokas that are associated with Jesus. Surprisingly, even Christians who know Sanskrit and have good knowledge of religion has to conclude just opposite! The information in the tract has been proven as false, forced and unreasonable agenda! The Hindu texts do not have anything such details and most texts the tract include aren't from the Vedas. Furthermore, the examined shlokas do not even have meaning that comes closer to what the tract intended to say! Therefore, its a desperate attempt to use such tract for sharing Jesus with peoples 😅

2) Did Jesus visit India during his "unknown age"?

The "unknown time period of Jesus" is usually popular as Missing years of Jesus. This is based on lack of information in the scripture. India once released even a tele-serial based on his speculative childhood life. It is usually believed that Jesus came to India and learned from Hindu gurus about spiritual teachings. He later survived even the crucifixion and came to Kashmir where he died and remains in the tomb. Clearly such story is Satan's attempt to divert people's mind away from the Gospel! In addition, a book was also published by Nicholas Notovich however proven to be false later by researchers. To be fair, Bible doesn't mention anything in details about Jesus' early life except the details that are necessary for our salvation. And it is clear from the Gospel that local people knew him well and his teachings do not have any tastes of Eastern religious teachings. Hence, if studied well, there is nothing we need to be worry about this issue 😊

3) Does the Bhavishya Purana mention him?

Yes, it does but its not a good news in any manner for us 😃. The straight answer is that Jesus of Bhavishya Purana isn't Jesus of our Bible 😃😃😃. We do not need such vague details from the other religious text that are indeed not secure from heavy criticism! 😄😄😄

4) Do you know about Ps. CP Sharma's documentary sermon on Teen Trilok Chaudha bhuvan? Can it be used to share about Jesus to Hindus?

Think these questions deeply before you move forward 🙂:

a) When you explain all those places and at end conclude Jesus as God over all gods, are you convincing your friends that their beliefs are true and our Bible also support their beliefs? If yes then you are at high risk of going beyond what the Bible actually teaches! 😃

b) If our God exists then their gods must also exist and all the beliefs detailed in the film must also be true so that the presentation can stand. Would you teach your friends that you accept their beliefs in order to show Jesus is Lord and Savior? 😅

c) Will you accept an unexplained detail of 12000 aatmas whom Purna paramatma parambrahman would send to dreamy world of Akshar Brahma? Can you even show its support from the Bible anywhere ? 🙂

d) The film explains this world as a dream of Akshar Brahma. And Supreme God would just make him wake up when the times come to destroy the world? If you believe this, how would you then explain Jesus' second coming, future judgement and even all his works on earth during an earthly ministry? The Bible clearly doesn't indicate anything that comes closer to such a teaching 🙂 Ps. Sharma uses just a song as his evidence which cannot be considered as a Biblical reason since songs usually comprise metaphors just as poetic books in the Bible! 😃😃😃

e) Also, will you affirm reincarnation? If his teaching is true then reincarnation also must be true which is again not a Biblical concept at all 😄

If you examine carefully then you would find many issues with his teaching 😅. What he ended up with is nothing but proving Hindu beliefs using the Bible! showing Jesus as supreme Lord by negotiating what he taught is a funny irony! 😅
